First trip to Dallas with my Daughter. The great hospitality that I received was outstanding. All of the staff were very helpful in helping us navigate around the tourist attractions. Special shout-out to Adrianna for the awesome service at check-in and for making sure we had a quiet room and some late-night food! Also, I didn't catch his name, but the maintenance fellow who changed the battery in the door lock for us was very efficient and didn't leave until he knew that are keys were working and the lock was repaired. The manager, Kelsey, was a lifesaver in helping us find parking downtown during a VERY busy event weekend. The property is fairly basic but very clean. It's the location and people that make this place great. I would not hesitate to return to this property if visiting Downtown Dallas again.

This hotel is a converted either warehouse, factory or office building (not sure which) so if you like “industrial loft” vibes you may like it. If you’re expecting a “typical” hotel room space in any way, this is not it. If you have young kids or anyone who is mobility challenged you cannot stay at this hotel. Room Floors are cold, hard unfinished cement. Pros: location within a 10 minute walk to convention center, staff was very friendly. I didn’t partake but free breakfast had a variety of options. There are mini fridges in the rooms, or at least there was one in mine. Cons: room wasn’t serviced everyday, no toiletries at all except the large bottles in the shower. See above re: warehouse. If I wanted to have a midnight rave with 40 people they probably all would have fit in my room easily but for just relaxing after a long day that is not the vibe.

Not a good experience with a terrible smell

I am a loyal Marriott traveler and this was probably the worst Marriott property I have ever stayed at. There was a terrible odor that smelled like mothballs in the hallways and the rooms. My bag still has the smell on it the next day. The surrounding area has lot of homelessness and the breakfast area leaves a lot to be desired. Overall the staff was very friendly but every time I went to ask for a different room no one was available. I just gave up an put up with the smell.

It's unacceptable for a hotel to go 4 days without cleaning the room or collecting the trash. Proper housekeeping is essential for guest comfort and hygiene. Finding a cockroach live in the bathroom is a severe issue that the hotel should address immediately to maintain a clean and pest-free environment. Having a cement floor might not be the most comfortable or inviting option for a hotel, as guests generally expect more appealing flooring choices. Dirty hallways indicate a lack of maintenance and cleanliness standards, which negatively affects the overall guest experience. Not having hot water for showers is a major inconvenience for guests, and the hotel should ensure a reliable hot water supply for a comfortable stay.
